COIMAX Bilbao (dental clinic – oral and maxillofacial surgery)
The project addresses the renovation of a floor for its refitting and design as a Dental Centre.
It is accessed directly through a lobby , the customer service / reception and waiting area. The lobby gives way to a distributor and is complemented by a toilet in the first part of the corridor and characterize this public space.
Glazed floor-to-ceiling walls, complemented by screen printing, conceal the previous window openings and characterize this public space.
The public area (reception / waiting) provides access, on one side, to the restricted units of surgery 1, surgery 2 / office, office, rest room, X-ray room and sterilization room, and on the other side to private areas (technical room, toilet / changing room and office).
The result, a modern interior design , with a minimalist style, where freshness and luminosity predominate. This objective is achieved by the predominance of white used for part of the furniture and walls.
In terms of light, indirect lighting is used, in a single blue colour, around unique volumetric elements in suspended ceilings , consistent with the need for concealment of structural beams and air conditioning installations.
