COMQ + Barakaldo (medical-surgical dental centre)

The project addresses the regeneration of a commercial premises for refitting as a Dental Clinic, providing it with a modern interior design.

The access will be via a minimum ramp, ensuring accessibility, and leading to the reception and waiting area for customers. The lobby is complemented by a toilet and gives way to the interior distribution corridor.

The public reception/waiting leads, on one side, to the restricted units of surgery 1, surgery 2 / office, office, rest room, sterilization room and X-Ray room, and on the other side to private areas (technical room, toilet / cloakroom and office).

The surgeries are compartmentalized using blue, floor-to-ceiling glazed walls, complemented by vinyls that conceal the patients and characterize this workspace.

The result, a minimalist design and style, where freshness and light predominate. This objective is achieved by the predominance of white used for part of the furniture and walls.

In terms of light, indirect lighting is used, in a single blue colour, around unique volumetric elements in suspended ceilings, consistent with the need for concealment of structural beams and air conditioning installations.
