Collective housing of avant-garde design and contemporary, sustainable image and low environmental impact
The new block of flats in Elortza Urduliz (20 VPT homes), is configured by the building typology that prevails in the area in which the building is located: isolated multi-family buildings, developed in GF (ground floor) +3 (three upper floors).

As for the general image, the collective housing building is shaped in a large simple and minimalist prism, in which the play of volumes and voids formed by the openings and façade terraces become protagonists and bring dynamism to the volume.
On a structure of prefabricated concrete elements, the envelope of the block of flats will be completed by a double-leaf façade with ventilated façade exterior cladding, which guarantees the suppression of thermal bridges and provides thermal comfort, in addition to significantly reducing energy losses in homes.
Energy efficiency and sustainability
It should be noted that the sunny conditions of the whole of the collective housing development guide the resolution of the project, adopting solutions that allow combining the rationality of the proposal with a high level of comfort of each of the homes.
On the other hand, in relation to the ventilation conditions in the houses, the double orientation (corner houses) or crossed (exterior façade and interior patio) has been sought for the residential building, allowing, in addition to greater sunlight, to benefit from optimal natural ventilation.
